1. CANCELLATION POLICY
We at THE LAND ALCHEMISTS understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your subscription or services with us. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring a smooth process for our customers.
- Eligibility for Cancellation: Customers can cancel their Property Monitoring Services (PMS) or any additional services within the cooling-off period of 7 days from the date of subscription, provided no services have been rendered during this period.
- Cancellation Process: To initiate a cancellation, customers must submit a written request via email to contact@thelandalchemists.com or through the customer portal on our website. The request should include the customer’s name, subscription details, and reason for cancellation.
- Post Cooling-Off Period: Cancellations requested after the 7-day cooling-off period will be subject to the terms outlined in the Customer Agreement. A pro-rata refund may be applicable based on the remaining subscription period, minus any applicable fees.
- Non-Refundable Services: Any services already rendered, including site visits, reports, or additional services availed during the subscription period, are non-refundable.
2. REFUND POLICY
We strive to ensure customer satisfaction with our services. However, if a refund is applicable, we have outlined the process below to ensure clarity and transparency.
- Eligibility for Refund: Refunds are applicable only for cancellations made within the 7-day cooling-off period, provided no services have been rendered. For cancellations post the cooling-off period, a pro-rata refund may be issued based on the unused portion of the subscription, subject to deductions for any services already provided.
- Refund Process: Once the cancellation request is approved, the refund will be processed within 15 business days. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during the subscription purchase.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Any setup fees, one-time charges, or fees for services already rendered (e.g., site visits, documentation services, or reports) are non-refundable.
- Third-Party Charges: THE LAND ALCHEMISTS is not responsible for any third-party charges (e.g., bank transaction fees, payment gateway fees) incurred during the refund process. These charges, if any, will be borne by the customer.
3. EXCEPTIONS
- Force Majeure: Refunds or cancellations may not be applicable in cases of force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, or unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of THE LAND ALCHEMISTS.
- Breach of Terms: If the customer breaches the terms and conditions of the Customer Agreement, including providing inaccurate information or failing to comply with obligations, THE LAND ALCHEMISTS reserves the right to deny cancellation or refund requests.
4. MODIFICATIONS TO THE POLICY
THE LAND ALCHEMISTS reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be updated on our website, and customers will be notified via email or through the customer portal. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
